Mrs. Mary Crum
Counseling/Theology
mcrum@bk.org
As both a counselor and teacher Mary Crum is serving students. Much of her time is spent counseling students, helping them to navigate high school, and assisting in the college application process. As a theology teacher, Mary believes that learning should be fun for both the student and the teacher. Her hard work and determination at Bishop Kelly has definitely not gone unnoticed. She received the Diocese of Boise Service Award in 2001 and the BK Teacher of the Year Award for the 2001-2002 school year.
Mrs. Crum’s service continues as an active member of her community. She volunteers at Our Lady of the Rosary parish as a lector as well as a trainer for lectors. She also travels with Bishop Kelly students on the Mexico service trip, and as a true Vandal, serves as a member of the Parent Advisory Committee at the University of Idaho.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of Idaho, Master of Religious Education from Seattle University, and Master of Arts in School Counseling from Boise State University. She is a member of the Idaho School Counselors Association and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Idaho. She also has her Idaho Education Credential in K-12 Counselor and Biblical Instruction.
Mrs. Crum loves being outside and enjoys hiking and biking. She also loves to read books, and notes that she spends summers by the poolside reading books and exercising.
