Her students keep her very busy, but Mrs. Riley loves helping each and every one. She is a compassionate counselor and spends most of her day engaged in assisting students in numerous ways. Whether wrestling with life struggles, searching for answers, or planning for college Susan’s students know she will provide the needed help. Mrs. Riley’s engaging personality and wonderful humor allow her students to easily connect with her and rely on her.

Mrs. Riley also teaches Art and Music Appreciation and Drawing. In these popular classes Susan guides students in new art experiences. Students respond well and excel in her classes, creating fantastic pieces of art while learning about different artistic traditions. Drawing students learn skills that nurture their innate talent allowing them to draw far better than expected. According to Susan Riley, learning is a path the student and teacher travel together. Mrs. Riley’s students describe her path with the following adjectives: fun, creative, passionate, inviting, helpful, relaxed and nice.
