The Bishop Kelly Foundation strongly supports the goal of diversity in the Bishop Kelly student body and the ideal of making a Catholic high school education available to all students, regardless of ability to pay. To that end, the Foundation manages funds for the following scholarships and endowments.  The recipients are chosen based on finanical need, and application is made through the school's normal financial process.

The Father Dodgson Scholarship

The Father Dodgson Scholarship Fund was established to provide tuition assistance to students who would otherwise be unable to attend Bishop Kelly High School. Thanks to the generous donation of William and Frances Lynch and Carl and Donetta Reynolds, along with alumni and friends of Bishop Kelly, the fund has continued to grow each year.

The Father Wilson Scholarship
On the occasion of his Golden Jubilee in June of 2004, the Bishop Kelly Foundation established the Father James R. Wilson Scholarship in his honor. Father Wilson started the Bishop Kelly Foundation in 1975, when he was principal of the high school. Alumni, friends, students, parents and staff contributed to this scholarship which will be used to provide financial assistance to those in need.

The John & Ruby Basabe Scholarship
Originally established by Ruby Basabe in memory of her husband, John, this scholarship is now funded by the Basabe children to honor both their mother and father who were firm believers in education.

The Merle W. LaMott Scholarship
The LaMott family has funded this scholarship in loving memory of their son and father, Merle, who was a long time supporter of Bishop Kelly High School. His five sons are all graduates of Bishop Kelly High School.

The Robin W, Raymond Scholarship
In 2004, Evelyn Butalla established a scholarship in memory of her son Robin Raymond. Robin attended Bishop Kelly High School and his mother wanted other students to be able to have the same opportunity for a Catholic education.

Friends of Bishop Kelly Track & Field
This endowment was funded by a grant from an anonymous donor to benefit current and future track and field teams at Bishop Kelly High School. The income from the endowment is used each year to help with expenses not covered in the athletic budget.

Friends of Bishop Kelly Cross Country
Established in 2004 with a grant from an anonymous donor, this endowment will benefit current and future cross country teams at Bishop Kelly High School. . The income from the endowment is used each year to help with expenses not covered in the athletic budget.
