I am an Ordained Deacon (July 1986). I have a BA in History from Idaho State and an MA in Theology from the University of Loyola in New Orleans. I started teaching theology at BK in January of 2010. I also had the opportunity to teach math at Idaho Falls High School for 6 years. My work experience includes 7 years working at a Nuclear Reactor as an operator and later as a Shift Supervisor. At the INL, I also worked in the chemistry department and maintained environmental waste regulations for the Advanced Test Reactor.

I love to do things with my family, especially my grandkids. I love riding my motorcycle, and I have a passion for fishing. My favorite quote on a personal basis is, “Fishing is NOT a matter of life or death. It is much more important than that.”

I love teaching at BK because of the dedicated staff and teachers,  phenomenal students,  caring involved parents, and the Catholic environment.

Fishing is NOT a matter of life or death;
It is much more important than that!
