I began teaching at BK in 2005 and have been teaching here the 11 years since, the last 2 of which have been full time positions.

I have a varied background: BS Chemistry (UC at Sonoma), restaurant owner, professional pilot, owner and operator of a local IT business, and now teaching at Bishop Kelly. I am married with 3 children (two BK grads and one a current senior at BK). I enjoy the Idaho outdoors whenever possible, hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, etc. Family is very important to me, we like to spend as much time together as possible.

I feel I have something positive to offer students at BK from my varied life experiences, especially concepts involving technology. I love seeing students become interested in, and excel at, computer science concepts, especially computer programming. I must say, retiring into teaching at Bishop Kelly has been the most satisfying career path of my life.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride.”
