I attended the University of Montana and received a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology. After graduation I accepted a job at the Pueblo Zoo in Pueblo, Colorado as a specialist in animal husbandry and management (zookeeping). In 1998 I moved to Boise and worked as a zookeeper at Zoo Boise. I had many wonderful and unique experiences working with a huge range of exotic animals but, always knew that my true calling was in education. I completing my teaching credentials in 2007 and left the zoo world behind. I began teaching here at BK in the fall of 2007 making this my ninth year teaching here at Bishop Kelly. I feel honored and privileged to be a part of the BK community as a teacher and parent.

I have been married for 27 years and have two children. My son graduated last year and my daughter is a Junior here at BK. I spend as much time as possible enjoying outdoor adventure sports for every season including rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, and backpacking.
