The elements and principles of art will be applied to works created in paint.  This is a painting course, application of color to various surfaces, with processes such as opaque and transparent painting, with a focus on composition, technique, and the elements and principles of art. The course will include opaque media, including but not limited to acrylic and tempera. Additionally,  an exploration of transparent media, including but not limited to ink and watercolor. Painting 2-4 will further experiment and explore techniques, skills, and concepts in painting media.
