Placement Test
A Placement Test is required for all incoming Students at Bishop Kelly.
All new Bishop Kelly students, including upper classmen, take a placement exam that helps determine which Math class they should be enrolled in. Bishop Kelly does recognize transcripted high school courses taken prior to enrollment. However, all incoming students will take a placement exam and course placement will depend on the outcome of the exam.
After taking the Math Placement test and receiving the results, a student may request to retake the test. Only one retake will be allowed.
Students who are currently enrolled in a Treasure Valley Catholic School will test at school, typically at the end of April or beginning of May.

Spanish Assessment
Students who wish to start their Spanish courses at Spanish II or higher can take a Spanish Assessment. Spanish Placement tests for fall 2026 have been administered. Please reach out to Angela Calovich (acalovich@bk.org) if you enrolled at Bishop Kelly after the Spanish placement test took place, but would like to have the option to enroll in Spanish II or higher..
