Bishop Kelly High School, in Boise, Idaho, a Catholic, college preparatory, educational community for young men and women in grades 9-12, is currently taking applications for the following positions for the 2017-18 academic school year.

Full-time Theology Teacher

The teacher is responsible for the learning and well-being of students. The qualified candidate possesses a strong commitment to academic excellence, the Catholic faith and the Bishop Kelly High School community.

Primary Responsibilities:

Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of Archdiocesan Theology Curriculum grades 9-12. Understands educational needs of target age group and has the ability to relate to students grades 9-12. Committed to the values and ideals of Catholic education.

Key Qualifications:

Practicing Catholic with a Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field. Certification or ability to be certified by the State of Idaho or attain Advanced Catechesis Certification.  Must have excellent oral and written communications skills, possess technology skills needed to use digital books and interactive classroom technology, and have excellent classroom management skills.

Part-time Retreat Coordinator/ Campus Minister

Bishop Kelly in now accepting applications for a part-time Retreat Coordinator/ Campus Minister.  The primary function of the job is help with the development and growth of the faith life of the entire school community:  students, faculty and staff. Head Swim Coach

Under the supervision of the Activities Director, the Head Swim Coach will share our vision of A Catholic community achieving excellence in Learning, Service, and Life, and our mission of educating and developing the whole student in the Catholic tradition–Spirit, Mind and Body. Part-time Library Assistant

Full-Time Math Teacher

Bishop Kelly is now accepting applications for a full-time Math Teacher to begin in the Fall of 2018-19 academic year.  Must have a current Idaho certification in Math 6-12. Full-Time Counselor

Bishop Kelly is now accepting applications for a full-time Counselor.  As part of the Bishop Kelly High School Counseling Staff, the Counselor will perform a variety of duties in developing, planning, and implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that includes academic, career, personal/social development for high school students. Full-Time Computer Science and STEM Teacher

Bishop Kelly High School is seeking candidates to fill the position of Computer Science and STEM Teacher to begin in the Fall of 2018-19 academic year. The ideal candidate will excel in teaching secondary computer science and will have at least three years of experience in teaching at the middle and/or high school level, including familiarity with and experience in STEM-related fields and curricula. The successful candidate must possess a BA or a BS degree, either in a STEM-related subject area or with comparable teaching or programming experience.
