Placement Test
A Placement Test is required for all incoming Students at Bishop Kelly.
All new Bishop Kelly students, including upper classmen, take a placement exam that helps determine which Math class they should be enrolled in. Bishop Kelly does recognize transcripted high school courses taken prior to enrollment. However, all incoming students will take a placement exam and course placement will depend on the outcome of the exam.
After taking the Math Placement test and receiving the results, a student may request to retake the test. Only one retake will be allowed.
Students who are currently enrolled in a Treasure Valley Catholic School will test at school, typically at the end of April or beginning of May.
The 2026 Math Placement Test for incoming students who are NOT currently enrolled in a Treasure Valley Catholic School is on April 11th from 8:00 – 11:00 AM, or 12:00 – 2:00 PM.
Make up day will be April 15th at 4;00 PM.
Spanish Assessment
Students who wish to start their Spanish courses at Spanish II or higher can take a Spanish Assessment. Spanish Placement Tests will be administered on April 18 at 10:00 AM and April 28 at 4:00 PM at Bishop Kelly.
