World History explores the development and interaction of cultures, economics, states, and societies globally from c. 1200-present.  Students will explain how geography, culture, religion, economics, and politics have shaped societies across the globe.  Through the study of diverse civilizations, students will develop critical thinking skills and gain perspective on how historical events continue to influence the world today.
